How to get to Šibenik
Šibenik is conveniently located on the central Dalmatian coast of Croatia and is accessible by air, road, bus, and ferry. Below you will find detailed information on how to reach the city.
By air
Šibenik does not have its own airport, but it is well served by two nearby international airports:
SPLIT AIRPORT (SPU)
Distance from Šibenik: approximately 55 km (about 1 hour by bus or car)
Split Airport is the closest major airport and the second-busiest airport in Croatia. It offers direct flights to numerous European cities, including London, Frankfurt, Munich, Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Vienna, Zürich, Berlin, Brussels, and many more, operated by carriers such as Croatia Airlines, Lufthansa, easyJet, Vueling, Eurowings, and others.

Distance from Šibenik: approximately 65 km (about 1 hour by bus or car)
Zadar Airport is another convenient option, with flights to many European destinations, particularly served by Ryanair and Croatia Airlines.

Distance from Šibenik: approximately 300 km (about 3.5 hours by bus or car)
Zagreb Airport is Croatia's main international airport, with the widest range of international connections. From Zagreb, Šibenik can be reached by car via the A1 motorway or by bus.

Transfers from the airport
We plan to provide organised shuttle transfers from Zagreb Airport and Split Airport to the venue in Šibenik for all registered participants. Detailed information about shuttle schedules and pick-up arrangements will be published closer to the event.
For those arriving independently:
From Split Airport:
- By bus: Regular public bus services connect Split Airport to Split city centre and Trogir. From where intercity buses run to Šibenik (approximately 1.5 hours total).
- By taxi/private transfer: A taxi or pre-booked private transfer from Split Airport to Šibenik takes approximately 50–60 minutes. Pre-booked transfers are recommended.
- By rental car: Car rental agencies are available at the airport. The drive to Šibenik follows the A1 motorway and the coastal road.
From Zadar Airport:
- By bus: Buses connect Zadar Airport to Zadar city centre, from where intercity buses run to Šibenik (approximately 1 hour from the city).
- By taxi/private transfer: A taxi or private transfer from Zadar Airport to Šibenik takes approximately 55–65 minutes.
- By rental car: Available at the airport; the drive follows the A1 motorway.
By bus
Šibenik is well connected to other Croatian cities and to the wider region by intercity bus services. Regular bus connections include:
- Zagreb — Šibenik: approximately 4-5 hours
- Split — Šibenik: approximately 1–1.5 hours
- Zadar — Šibenik: approximately 1–1.5 hours
- Dubrovnik — Šibenik: approximately 4.5–5.5 hours
